As Computer Knowledge is MUST for each and every trade and profession, proper TYPING SKILL is also MUST to use Computer.  Typing with one finger wastes TIME and is not APPLICABLE, whereas typing with all fingers increase SPEED with ACCURACY.

Nowadays, typing is ESSENTIAL for everyone.  If you are:

A Student:  You need to pay a lot of money in getting your projects or thesis typed by professional typist.  It also wastes your valuable time and sometimes you lose your temperament which reacts as a bad impact on focusing upon your studies.  This situation can be a reason of your bad or unexpected result in examinations.

An Employee:  You need to seek for services of a typist of your organization to do your typing work.  Either you dictate or provide him/her a handwritten draft to type.  It is not possible for him/her to understand the exact interpretation of your mind.  Obviously he/she does mistakes, which sometimes unbearable/unanswerable for you.  This situation can not only make you hyper, but can also cause you to be fired from the organization.

A Businessman:  NOOOOOO a Businessman can never afford even a single typing error.  A single mistake can cause in the shape of HEAVY LOSS to him.  It is not possible for him/her to waste the precious time in searching for a person to type for him/her, as a businessman spend most of the time in travelling, sticking in office is not possible for him/her.  In this Internet era, he/she has to use computer frequently to receive their Emails and also to respond them.  If he/she is well versed in typing, it will be very easy to deal with this situation.  The most important factor in a business is CONFIDENTIALITY, which does not exist if your work is done by others.

PLACEMENT OF FINGERS

INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW

If you want to be a GOOD TYPIST, you MUST ADOPT the following INSTRUCTIONS while practicing the typing lessons:

                                                      

1. Do not try to TYPE FAST in the beginning.  ACCURACY is more important than the SPEED.  The speed will automatically increase gradually if you type accurate.  The time will come when you will sure be able to type SPEEDY with ACCURACY. 
2. Do not type for LONG TIME in the beginning.  Give a BREAK OF FEW MINUTES when you feel BORING or TIRING.  Then resume practicing with FRESH MIND.  Such breaks in between practicing will help you to fully concentrate on your work.
3. Complete CONCENTRATION is required while typing practice.  Do not practice with disturbed mind.
4. Before starting a lesson, WRITE DOWN the TYPING LESSON you have to practice clearly on a paper and keep that paper at the left side top of your computer table.
5. Place your FINGERS on the KEYBOARD according to the fingers’ placement chart.  Do remember that while practicing only your fingers should touch the keyboard, any other part of your hand should not touch on the keyboard or anywhere else.
6. Strictly make it a practice to keep your eyes on the paper of lesson you have prepared and have placed at the left side top of your computer table.  DO NOT LOOK AT THE MONITOR OR ON THE KEYBOARD OR ANYWHERE ELSE WHILE TYPING.
7. While practicing do not even try to delete the mistakes.  Deleting process will disturb your concentration and it will also affect badly on your typing speed i.e. typing speed will decrease by deleting mistakes.
8. DO NOT START NEXT LESSON until and unless you become perfect in the current lesson.

ABOUT ME

When I started to learn typing, nobody provided me personal guidance or support for learning good typing except what I got from the books. 

I started my career as a Typist in 1974 with the typing speed of 40 words per minute.  I made my own ways to increase my typing speed and practiced hard to achieve the goal.  Within two years my typing speed on manual typewriter reached to 75 words per minute and it was so much accurate that my bosses did not bother to check for the mistakes.

Later, I got the opportunity to type on computer and due to the touch system of computer keyboard my typing speed increased more. 

Can you imagine what typing speed I am having now?  Wow, my typing speed is around 90 words per minute.

There are many ways to learn typing.  Each and every way goes to a success in learning typing. 

I have prepared the typing lessons in the light of my vast typing experience of 35 years.  From the way of my teaching I can boldly suggest you to follow my instructions to learn good typing and to get command on your typing speed and accuracy.
